Don’t hassle the Hoff crab!
Lauren P

A new species of crab has been found and nicknamed The Hoff because of its hairy chest. The crab was discovered in volcanic vents in the Southern Ocean off the coast of South Georgia. Theses crabs have hairs to catch and grow bacteria which they then eat.
It was named by UK scientists on board the ship which found the crab which is a type of yeti crabs. They named it after the US actor David Hasselhoff because of the hairy chest.
Dr. Rogers who led the research says “The crab occurs in staggering densities – literally living in heaps around the volcanic vents.”
I think this is just crabtastic news!
