Irchester Lab_13: In the beginning…

This was Irchester’s first blog post. If you would like to read more about them and how they have progressed follow the Lab_13 tab above.

Irchester first found out that we had been awarded a lab_13 in July 2010. We were all very pleased and excited as we had worked very hard for it.

Our lab_13 committee contains four year 6’s and four year 5’s.

We are hoping to have a variety of experiments going on that interest the children. Also, we are going to try to introduce science as best as we can to foundation stage children so that they will be able to take part as well.

At the minute we are trying to find a scientist to work with us in the lab and we are deciding on what we want our lab to look like.
