A Science Poem by Irchester Year 2 Science Writers (age 7 and 8)

What is Science?

Scientists make our TVs and our toys,

Scientists can be girls or boys.

It makes frogs live and it makes frogs dead,

It makes the flowers grow in the flower bed.

Science is crazy, it helps us to learn,

Even about the slimy sticky worm.

Scientists make you go “WOW!”

Don’t you want to be a scientist now, now, NOW?
