Dovecote Slime Kits

We’ve been really excited to read about Ichester’s Sherlock kits.  We can’t wait to get our hands on some tomorrow at the Pop-up-Centre launch….

We have been working on our Lab_13 favourite – Slime Kits.

We first made the kits when Ignite were doing some testing for an online Lab-13 shop (Any news?) and we have been selling them in our after school shop.  But some people wondered if we could make smaller, cheaper, ‘starter’ kits.  So we did.

Small and Large Slime Kits (One bottle of PVA plus one bottle of Borax per kit)
Plus instructions

We bought 100 small bottles online (100ml capacity) to go with the 100 large bottles (250ml capacity) that we had already bought.

We sell them for £5.00 for the large kit and £2.00 for the small.  But, if you bring the empty bottles back we will give you a refill for £2.50 or £1.00, because we’ve found that the cost of the bottles is actually most of the cost of the kits!

With these kits you can make slime at home using food colouring or glitter that you supply yourself. More fun and more scope for investigation – plus you can show all of your family why making slime is so much fun.

We will be bringing our kits along to the launch and will hopefully swap some with Irchester for some of their Sherlock kits.  We will use the Sherlock kits ourselves and/or offer them for sale in our after school club.
