Questions Week at Lab_13 Irchester

This week is Questions Week at Lab_13 Irchester! The questions board in Lab_13 has been over flowing with questions, which is brilliant, so we decided to encourage the entire school to ask questions everyday all week! We want to encourage everyone to wonder and explore and ask “WHY?” and “What if?” and “How” about everything around them!

All the different classes have been using questions to plan their science work this week. Year 1 has been doing a lot of sense and body questions such as “How do our eyes work?” “Why do I need glasses?” and other classes have been working on habitats, genetics, adaptation and more. Year 6 had had a very heated debate yesterday asking “Which came first, the chicken or the egg?” Even our teaching assistants have been asking questions about why their shoes get smelly in the rain! It’s a very exciting week and we hope we reignite the interest our school has in the world around us.
