New MT members at Dovecote

Hi there,

we’re the new members of the Management Team at Dovecote Lab_13. Our names are Grace, Josh, Lester and Tom, and we’re all in Year 6.

New Year 6 members of Dovecote Lab-13 Management team. Jan 2014

R. to L. Tom, Josh, Lester & Grace

After the MT from Dovecote went to visit Irchester last term they decided that it would be a good idea for the members of the MT to change at regular intervals rather then remain on the team all the way from Yr 4 until they leave.  Everyone on the team would like to stay for ever (!) but they decided that there were a number of good reasons for a change. Number 1, there are lots of other people who would like a chance to be on the Management Team.  Number 2, it makes sure that members keep on putting in the effort needed to come along to meetings and do the jobs that need doing. Number 3, it means that people in class are even more interested in what’s going on in the Lab because they might be running it next.

So, for now, we are concentrating on learning what the jobs that need doing are and lending a hand where we can.

The year 5 members are the next lot to stand down, at the end of this term, so they are enjoying doing the main jobs on the Team for now…
