At Gillespie we have started an astronomical society. This club allows children and adults to participate in space activities .In the last meeting we looked at a website that allowed us to look at bigger and smaller things: http://htwins.net/scale2/

The club is run by one of the parents (and Carole will be here whenever she is available) and we meet once a month depending on weather – if it is a clear night. We looked at the Hubble space website and looked at lots of pictures of the things Hubble had seen. http://hubblesite.org/hubble_discoveries/hubble_deep_field/

In this club we allow all the people to ask their own questions (the adults asked questions too).  In our opinion, we love this club because it allows you to be creative and will be really exiting when we begin to stargaze.
