Dirty, Stinky Children

Dirty Stinky Children imageWe wanted to know more about our bodies, infection and disease. We wanted to find out how we can learn about this and reduce illnesses in our schools. We asked the questions and now, our Dirty Stinky Children project is going to find the answers. Here is the video we sent to the Wellcome Trust who are going to fund the project.

All of the children in Irchester Community Primary School and Gillespie Primary School will be investigating biomedical sciences and the good, the bad and the ugly of microbiology!

Microbiology is the study of microbes and their interactions with humans, animals, plants, and the environment.  Microbes are those organisms usually too small to be seen by the naked eye, such as bacteria, viruses, yeast and algae

From this page, we will be uploading our work on our project so feel free to look, comment and share ideas!
